Memrise is creating learning tech that transforms people’s ability to learn languages. Our goal is to teach people to be confident in a new language after 50 hours of study - about 10 times as fast as live classes.

We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Data Engineer. Your mission will be to build and improve our data pipeline with an emphasis on availability and quality. You will help provide essential data to the entire company, and you’ll get to work with a truly international and diverse team of people.
Ideally you will have some of the following:
- Deep experience in managing ETL pipelines
- Experience building systems to monitor data quality
- Used to processing data from many different sources
- Advanced SQL skills - able to write complex SQL queries to analyse our database with billions of data pointsn
- Good knowledge of Python
- Extremely detail and quality-oriented
Bonus points for:
- Experience with mobile apps code
- Expert knowledge of analytics databases such as Redshift
- AWS experience
- An interest in languages and language learning
